My motivation for working at Calvinayre.com was having the privilege to work with some of the best creative minds in the gambling industry.

He’s a guy who is not afraid to back his creative team, even in the face of a tough industry story. I found their coverage too deferential to the established giants of the day and too oblivious of the changes I saw looming on the horizon.

I didn’t invent online gambling, but I saw its potential early enough to help shape the industry in ways that allowed it to emerge from the shadows into the mainstream.

What is Fire Strike?

The Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority (ILGA) in New South Wales is seeking to transfer administration of the ClubGRANTS scheme to the State Revenue chief commissioner, citing operational pressures and ongoing scrutiny.

This was revealed through documents obtained by ABC and statements from ILGA chair Caroline Lamb on Monday.

Introduced in 1998, ClubGRANTS was designed to channel a share of gambling-linked profits from gaming clubs back into local communities. This includes health and welfare services as well as community development and sporting clubs.
